He then worked for 6 months as a locum consultant orthopaedic surgeon providing trauma services at Sydney Children’s Hospital.

Jason has undertaken further subspecialty training:

  • Hip & Knee Reconstruction Fellowship with Dr. Michael Solomon, Sydney, Australia
Learning from Dr. Michael Solomon, one of Australia’s premier high-volume hip and knee jbroint replacement (arthroplasty) surgeons allowed Jason to further hone his skills in primary and revision hip replacement surgery (Anterior and Posterior approaches), primary and revision total and partial knee replacement surgeries, knee arthroscopy and reconstruction of meniscal and ligament injuries.
  • Foot & Ankle Reconstruction Fellowship with Dr. David Lunz, Sydney, Australia

Jason moved to Paris, France to complete an international fellowship in paediatric orthopaedic surgery at Hôpital Universitaire Robert Debré, one of France’s biggest paediatric and maternity hospitals. His time there in one of the busiest paediatric units in Europe allowed him to gain skills in treating children with congenital and developmental deformities of the lower limb, cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular developmental disorders, developmental hip dysplasia and slipped capital femoral epiphysis.
